
Now we draw shoes from the opposite way. Study the shoe, don't look at the drawing.
The goal here is to make the line describe the shoe; the art is in how the line itself moves and dances across the surface. And I really mean it when I say we couldn't look at our own drawings, except to position each shoe with respect to the others.
At this point, we all were drawing in our own way. Nobody's drawings looked like anyone elses. Remarkable, that. :)
