Now and then, some occasion comes up and someone feels compelled to buy me a toy.

Understand, I have nothing morally against this, in fact I like to encourage it. But, I've learned from long effort that it's not a spectator sport on my part and I should slip in a little helping paw now and then.

I'm in a stage of life when I'm trying to dispose of many material goods, as opposed to gaining more. So I'll tell you what: just send me happy thoughts and a backrub. That's all I really want.:)
